Public restrictions are being eased. Notwithstanding the instigation of protocols to pave way for healthy recommencement of on-campus academic work for final year students across. Which is across all tertiary institutions in the country. Mrs Haizel-Aisha, registrar of the University of Ghana has revealed that the university is to provide accommodations for final year students, that is; All level 400 students, final year postgraduate studies students and final year sandwich studies students. Also, final year clinical students and level 300 Bsc Medical Sciences Students who are residents or non-residents of the traditional halls or private hostels.
In addition, she stated that all continuing students other than final year students. Who left any personal belongings behind at any residential facility. Which is mentioned herein is to return for them not later than the 22nd Of June. This is to pave way for the accommodation of final year students.
Who happen to be returning on the 15th Of June.
Final year students who will not be returning back to campus. But have personal belongings left behind are also directed to comply with this directive. She later revealed in the communique that the university management is compelled to remove all unclaimed personal belongings. These belongings will be for non-final students after the said date. She emphatically stated that this is the final opportunity being given to affected students. All are admonished that after this exercise. The university and its staff have no blame to take for any loses that will may be encountered by all affected persons that will fail to comply with this directive.
