GES Confirms Death of Methodist Girls SHS Student
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has with much grief and sorrow. Confirmed the sudden demise of a student of Methodist Girls’ Senior High School (MEGHIS).
According to the Management of the Ghana Education Service. The deceased is a final year student offering General Art in Methodist Girls Senior High School (MEGHIS] at Mamfe, Akuapem.
However, the statement issued by the Ghana Education Service confirming the death of Ms. CINDY AKU SIKA ADDO disclosed. That she felt unwell on Thursday, 16th July, 2020 and was sent to the Tettey Quarshie Hospital at Mampong for medication around 11pm.
Also, in the statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Education Service CASSANDRA TWUM AMPOFO notes that. The parents of the late Ms. CINDY AKU SIKA ADDO were immediately informed about their ward’s health condition and they went to the hospital to see her.
Therefore, according to the report, the deceased was later referred to the Koforidua Regional Hospital. Where she unfortunately passed on the next day on Friday, 17th July 2020.
Moreover, the statement issued by the management of the Ghana Education Service. Though confirmed the death of the student but could not state the cause of her death as reported by the Media.
In conclusion, the Management of the Ghana Education Service after realising the painful exit of the young promising student. Therefore, they Extends thier deepest condolences to the bereaved family and assures the family of support in giving a befitting burial.
