Ghanaian rapper Yaa Pono is telling his fellow artistes to learn how to support music producers.

The rapper made this known when he was on Showbiz Agenda today on Zylofon FM with Sammy Flex.

In reaction to his new collaboration with ace producer Dr.Ray titled “1997”, said this is something that must happen very often.

According to the rapper, he believes artistes should not reach out to producers only. When they need a beat but rather it should go beyond that. He added that he and his fellow artistes should also be interested in the welfare of these producers. As they are nothing without producers.

The “obia wone master” hitmaker also talked about him not planning to be friends with his long term rival Shatta Wale. He disclosed that though they are not enemies. Their relationship is and will always be about them being industry mates and nothing else.

Yaa Pono further revealed that he and Shatta Wale have exchanged contacts. And they do communicate once in a while. He even said there is a possibility that the two collaborate in the future.
