Enough Of The Discrimination Against Graduate Teachers
Enough is enough, [we] won’t surrender to humiliation anymore, [we] will claim our very right that makes us inalienable hence establishes us to be heirs to the labours of our forefathers. [WE] can’t continue being refugees in our own homeland. The last wake up alarm has sounded.
To whoever can hear my cry, tell the president, the education minister and whoever is concerned that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. Are the lecturers in the universities (UCC, UEW, LEGON, UDS) incompetent ? Should we accept that universities in Ghana cannot produce teachers? It is disastrous if the above questions produce “yes answers” . [WE] have drunk of a spell forced through our throats , ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
It is very sarcastic to believe that teachers from universities can teach at the second cycle but not basic level. Where is it written that teachers trained from the universities are not fit for classrooms? ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.
If teachers from universities are not fit to teach then the very universities that produce those teachers must be closed down and their lecturers sacked because they made us who we are today . ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
The fallacy that once you graduate from teacher training college then you are better in classroom than a university graduate is still a fallacy. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
Trained teachers from the universities also deserve a share of the national cake. The knowledge we acquired is for classroom management [primarily ].
