However, according to Dr. Clement Apaak, government is using state own fund to provide the hot meal for students. And not President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s own pocked money nor that of NPP.
In addition, he further discloses the list of NPP parliamentary candidates. Who have embossed the photos with that of President Akufo-Addo on packed foods. Which was meant for students and teachers as government’s intervention. And compelled them to say 4more4 before receiving the food.
Therefore, These are list of the NPP parliamentary candidates disclosed by Dr. Clement Apaak include;
1. Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, NPP MP Aspirant for Tolon.
2. Quist Ernest Theophilus
3. Dr. Ibrahim Anyan NPP MP Aspirant for Tamale Central

I have chanced on a recorded video in circulation. In-which school children were compelled to say “FOUR MORE FOR NANA.” Before they are handed their pack of food. This is reprehensible, wrong, unacceptable, and abusive.
Let it be clear that the cost of these food packs, are borne by the state and the taxpayers, not President Akufo-Addo nor his NPP. And that is why it is surprising to see the scrambling by Parliamentary hopefuls of the New Patriotic Party emboss their images and that of Nana Akufo-Addo on food meant to be provided to our young JHS graduates. Who gave these aspirants the permission to do that; the Ministry of Education, the Ghana Education Service, the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection or the Presidency?
In addition to the video cited, among the images circulating of food packs are sticker posters with these names on them: (1) Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, NPP MP Aspirant for Tolon; (2) Quist Ernest Theophilus; and (3) Dr. Ibrahim Anyan NPP MP Aspirant for Tamale Central.
However, these acts are unacceptable; callous abuse of political power. And also conduct of political activities in our junior schools, an act the Ghana Education Service had issued statement to warn against.
Therefore, president Akufo-Addo ought be mindful of the need to respect the fact that the provision of these food packs are at a cost to the state, and not an activity sponsored by the NPP. The President and the NPP must not use this opportunity to appropriate to themselves, political capital from an exercise that is being borne by the taxpayer.
Also, these acts must be stopped immediately to restore some dignity in the exercise that seeks to provide food for our young compatriots. While at it, efforts must be made to improve the quality of food being shared among these students and their teachers as complaints have began emerging on social media on the poor quality of food being distributed so far.
