With reference to the communique on reopening of school for first year students of UCC.

However, students are to notice that they’re going to be accommodated in their respective halls of residence upon resumption.

However, the arrangements made by management will have all students residing on campus. Hall residents will return to their halls. SSNIT hostel members will remain there. Also, non residents will be accommodated at Alumni Hostel.

Also, non residents are entreated to report to Alumni Hall for room allocation.

The Management of the Students Loan Trust Fund (STLF) says it has duly paid teacher trainees allowances and arrears for the month of August 2020.

2,000 BECE Candidates In The Kwesimintsim Constituency Receives Mathematical Set From NaCCA Boss

Executive Secretary of the National Council (NaCCA), Dr Prince H. Armah has presented mathematical sets to over 2,000 prospective Basic Education Certificate Examination candidates (BECE) in Kwesimintsim.

However, the Executive Secretary in his remarks said the donation is one of the many ways his Foundation is pursuing its mission of facilitating education. And the skills training in order to grow the next generation of Ghanaian professionals, innovators and leaders from Kwesimintsim.

Also, Dr Prince H. Armah in his address and interactions with the final year students. He urged them to take their studies seriously in order to harness the transformational power of education.

The Executive Secretary of the National Council (NaCCA) aside the mathematical sets also announced the “Dr Prince H. Armah Award for Academic Excellence in Public Schools.

Finally, he noted that the award will from this year, be presented to the best performing student in the BECE from a public school in the Kwesimintsim constituency.
