UCCABS Executives Elect visits Nduom School of Business and Technology

On Sept 17, 2020, the Executives (elect) of the University of Cape Coast Association of Business Students. They visited Nduom School of Business and Technology.
However, the newly elected executive were warmly welcomed by the Registrar of the school; Mr Nimako Danquah. Taking the executives on a tour around the school’s campus. The Registrar assured them about the serenity of the place. And the efforts being made to ensure the readiness of the school and staff to accommodate the incoming students .
Moreover he added that the school’s buildings were well spaced out with a hostel capacity of about 800 students. The President elect, Mr. Kent Baidoo, being pleased with the infrastructural development witnessed on the tour. He commended the School and it’s authorities for it dedication towards building a modernized environment for academic development.
Also, he said, ” I am now convinced that our students will have the best facilities at their disposal and hopefully they will make the best use of it. Therefore, we are definitely pleased with what we have seen and we are grateful for this collaboration with Ndoum School of Business and Technology. We also look forward to forming a strong alliance. As we all strive to develop our country’s human capital by ensuring equal academic opportunities for all “.
Moreover, the new academic year begins in November according to the proposed calendar. Which was released by the University’s authorities. However, this is further subjected to the pronouncement of the President.
However the collaboration between the University of Cape Coast and the Ndoum School of Business and Technology will be the first of such agreement entered into by the University. Which will see some of its business students complete their first year on the new campus.

UCC Scholarship For The 2020/2021 Academic Year: Requirements And How To Apply
Management of the University of Cape Coast; The Students’ Financial Support Office established under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor is accepting applications from suitable and qualified needy but brilliant/promising regular or distance students of the University Of Coast for the award Of the for the 2020/2021 academic year.
In order to qualify and/or be eligible for the Scholarship, a student must meet the following requirements:
i. Must be a Ghanaian by birth
ii. Be enrolled as a student of the University Of Cape Coast on full-time regular or distance programmes
iii. Must have completed at least one academic year of studies
iv. Be able to demonstrate financial need must be ready to supply any documentary evidence for decision making
v. Must have CGPA of 2.5 and above
