Shatta Wale featured in Creative Arts study book
Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has been featured during a Creative Arts textbook meant for sophistication four pupils and published by Alpha and Omega series.
The page on the Shatta Wale comes with a watered-down biography of the artiste and a few of the works he has put out over time.
In the book, the students were tasked to, in groups or pairs, discuss who he is and later dance and sing to one of his popular songs.
The ‘Melissa’ hitmaker’s appearance in the textbook follows the need for students to learn about performing artistes as stated in the curriculum.
Students are required to study artistes whose work reflect topical issues in Ghana, reflect the history and the culture of the people in Ghana among others.
Students, according to the curriculum, should be tasked to gather information on artistes, examine their compositions and works and generate ideas from the artworks of some artists they discover.

Ghanaian Musician Awal , alias as Awal Dexter, has called on lovers of his craft to stay supporting his music.
Awal, who showed on New Day recollected the love that was shown him during his time on both Talented Kidz and MTN Hitmaker shows. He told Ghanaians to continue supporting him as he has recently released a video for his song ‘Yenda’ which he described as a celebration song doing great on the market.
He showed appreciation to Sarkodie for the years of “great mentorship” and contribution to his career.
When asked where he sees himself in 5 years to come he said,” I can’t imagine myself because you people are patronizing my work, the support has been there since day one.
“So I believe in some years to come I’ll be able to attain a higher level with my career”.
He explained that education was the reason for his brief absence from the music scene. The former child star expressed appreciation to MTN and TV3 for contributing to what he has become.

You Won’t Like My Songs If You’re Not An Intellectual – Bosom P-Yung
Budding Ghanaian musician, Bosom P-Yung has stated that his songs are for a certain class of people.
During a chit-chat with Nana Ama McBrown on the ‘McBrown’s Kitchen’ show aired on UTV. Bosom P-Yung bragged his songs are for deep thinkers.
The ‘Attaa Adwoa’ hitmaker revealed that people who do not appreciate his style and songs are not intellectuals.
“You won’t like my songs if you’re not an intellectual,” he said.
“the way i blends my English with the Twi is so different. So if you’re somebody who doesn’t appreciate and not a deep thinker. You won’t see that this guy is doing something different that. I even have to urge hooked in to”. He added
Bosom P-Yung recounted the in-depth studies he made before venturing into the music scene.

Based on his studies, the musician known in private life as Prince Ofori said he realized people with unique styles make giant strides in their respective fields. He mentioned Michael Jackson, Lilwin and Kwadee as an example of such people.
“Music isn’t all about voice, check out how legendary Michael dresses,” Bosom P-Yung further stated.
