The one-eighth stage of the 2020 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz has been a whole mood throughout this week. Today comes our way with an exciting contest between five-time champions Presbyterian Boy’s Senior High School, Legon , Aggrey Memorial Senior High School and Sunyani Senior High School.Aggrey Memorial School and Sunyani SHS came all the way from the prelims.
Aggrey Memorial SHS had the opportunity to compete in the one-eighth stage as one of the two top runners-up after being beaten by Holy Child School by just a point.
Sunyani SHS also pulled some surprises after winning their preliminary contest with twenty-five marks gap . They also took home 800cedis from the GOIL Riddle Bonanza after answering three out of the four riddles correct.
Presec, Legon , popularly known as the “Blues Magicians or simply the Blues” has increased their hopes of winning a sixth trophy as they were crowned the Greater Accra Champions after reducing Accra Academy and Chemu SHS to an astronomical quotient in the finals of the Greater Accra Regional Championship.
The reckoning hour is now ! Is Aggrey Memorial SHS and Sunyani SHS going to pull surprises?
or Is Presec , Legon coming to claim their sixth trophy in this pandemic?
We shall all see the light at the end of the tunnel.
