UEW Students Advised To Remain Calm As SRC Gives Updates On Reopening Status
The Students Representative Council of the University of Education, Winneba. Has released a statement, addressing students’ anxiety over the 2020/2021 Academic year.
According to the communique, students are to remain calm. As measures are being taken to make sure that the academic year resumes without any glitch. The SRC stated that the Academic Board has a date of reopening included in its academic calendar for the academic year. But is awaiting approval from the Government of Ghana. With this approval pending. Students who gained admission to UEW to start as freshers for the new academic year will also have to exercise some patience. As admission letters are currently on hold while an admission date awaits approval.
However, with regards to school fees for the new academic year. The SRC clearly states that students should ignore any figure that does not officially come from the school. As the amount is yet to be disclosed by the authorities.
Any and every information in relation to the University and the academic year including Level 400 internships are all reliant on the approval of the Academic Calendar by the Government of Ghana so students are entreated to keep calm but are also advised to be ready for whenever the official date for reopening is released.
