President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo this evening hosted 2020 NSMQ champions – PRESEC at the Jubilee House.
This follows his congratulatory and invitation message to the team after the contest. “Congratulations to PRESEC Legon for emerging victors in the #NSMQ2020. Winning #6 makes them the undisputed kings of the competition.
Thoroughly well-deserved, and I look forward to welcoming them to Jubilee House soon,” he wrote on his Twitter timeline.
Presbyterian Boys’ Secondary School is a six-time champion of the well-acclaimed quiz. They won competition in 1995, 2003, 2006, 2008, 2009 & 2020.
This year’s winnning team was represented by Daniel Gakpetor Benjamin Quansah and Isaac Gyamfi.
As he counts this as a tradition, His Excellency received the gentlemen together with their coach at the Jubilee House. This visit was highly anticipated by followers of the NSMQ.

The President who is an honorary ‘Odadie’ praised the team and management. He commended their efforts in winning this year’s trophy despite the futility in doing so over the past years. Also, he praised their contribution to national development. He cited the instance of having 14 Presecans as legislators. He notably remarked that Presec is the best or among the best schools in Ghana.
