GES To Release Teachers Upgrade Letter – Education Minister
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has promised to release the promotion and upgrade letters of the teacher who are qualified to be promoted or upgraded in due course, the Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has said.
Dr Yaw Adutwum in an interview monitored by EducationWeb.com.gh said even though the upgrade and promotion sometimes delay but GES this year is working tirelessly to release the teachers upgrade letter as soon as possible.
“The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has promised me they will this year release the promotion and upgrade letters to qualified teachers soon,” the Education Minister stated.
According to him, a portal will also be for teachers who are due for promotion but have not been promoted to submit their name and other details for the necessary action to be taken.
“So for past and present teacher upgrade and promotion, the Ghana Education Service (GES), this year is working tirelessly on it to ensure teachers due for promotion and upgrade are satisfied,” the Educationist noted
Teachers who will be upgraded or promoted the Bosomtwe Member of Parliament said will receive a decent amount of salary.
