The University of Education, Winneba(UEW) has commenced a mop-up medical examination for all fresh students on the regular programmes who were unable to report or reported but failed the main medical examination.
UEW in a blog post sighted by EducationWeb.com.gh said the mop-up which began on June 7, 2021, to July 19, 2021, at the university clinic is to give the first-year students the final chance to be medically examined.
The mop-up medical examinations are scheduled as follows:
Date: 7th June – 19th July 2021
Time: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
Venue: University Clinic
According to UEW, fresh students who fail to report or complete their medical examination within the mop-up period would not only forfeit their ID Cards but also have their names submitted to the Registrar for the appropriate sanctions.
