UCC: Law Student Union Donate To Ankaful Prisons And Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital (Photos)
The Law Students’ Union as part of its Week Celebration decided to make some donations to the Ankaful Prisons and the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital.
The Union thought it wise to extend a helping hand to the less privileged and also to help them especially in this era of the Covid-19 pandemic. 30 students were delegated to make this travel and necessitate the donation. The items donated to these two places included sanitary items, and food items.
The motive for this donation was to support inmates observe the hygiene protocols by the Ghana Health Service and let them feel loved.
Due to increasing cases of Covid-19, the delegation was not permitted to tour the Psychiatry Wards. The donations was presented to the Management of the Hospital. At the Prisons, the Officers of the Prisons met with the team and the donation was successfully made.
The joy on the faces of the hearts we’ve touched is immeasurable.
