A Group calling its self Action Movement Youth (AMY) is calling on all those with the presidential ambitions to contest John Dramani Mahama in the next NDC presidential elections to abort their ambitions and consider coming next time.
“For the respect we have for Dr. Duffor and Kojo Bonsu, they should abort their presidential ambitions and consider themselves next time.” They said.

We, members of a 5 year volunteer group within the National Democratic Congress, Action Movement Youth (AMY-NDC) are calling on all those with presidential ambitions to contest His Excellency John Dramani Mahama in the party’s flag-bearer election to be held soon to abort their ambitions now and consider coming next time.
We are saying this without missing words because per the records of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama during his term of office were unprecedented in the history of our Fourth Republic.
Just last two months, we conducted a survey to see the opinions of Ghanaians who want Mahama back, you’ll be surprise with the outcome. Out of the sixty-seven thousand (67,000) respondents, about sixty-five thousand, and forty (65,040) respondents want John Dramani Mahama as the next president of this country.
We believe and know that heavens have endorse him and so shall it be done on earth.
For opposition party to rescue power from a power-drunk sitting government needs a lot of sacrifices and resources and we will be happy and grateful if Dr. Duffor and co will support with that rather than contesting an election which they know well within their hearts that they won’t even one percent.
For the respect we have for Dr. Duffor and Kojo Bonsu, they should abort their presidential ambitions and consider themselves next time.
We are therefore calling on the National Executive Council (NEC) of the party to call them to order because resolving issues after internal election is another problem on it own.
This is the voice of the grassroot.
