The youth, who make up the majority of our voters in our cherished constituency, are ushering in a new era in contemporary politics, a fresh wave of change. I, OSEI BRIGHT, a young comrade, energetic, hardworking, down-to-earth, and a vibrant native of Offinso Dentin, raised in Samproso, believe that Offinso is capable of leading the youth revolution and the next era of youth leadership in the municipal.

Offinba Naasie, as I am more commonly known, has served the National Democratic Congress (NDC) throughout its ranks and I’m prepared to take advantage of the opportunity to lead the Offinso South NDC in their effort to capture the parliamentary seat for our party.

Yes, it is possible.

I’m writing to you to draw inspiration from the daily lives we led as children in our rural villages, where giving up was never an option and where, no matter the threat, we only had the choice to fight for existence. Over the past few years, it has only been profound and somber reflections about the vision I have developed for you, my good people of Offinso South, the youth, the NDC, and the entire populace, both voters and non-voters.

The vision of giving Offinso South leadership that focuses on the unemployed, the youth, SMEs, and those in the diaspora is the kind of leadership that looks out for everyone, both skilled and unskilled, that comes to you rather than expecting you to go to them, that is focused on people, and that opens doors for everyone. the future that we can create together.

I was reminded of my vision and my aspirations every time one of you reached out to me personally, over the phone, through family members, to encourage me to embark on this journey, and I made no second thoughts about serving the people who mean the world to me.

However, the verse in Habakkuk 2:3 makes me grin because it reminds me that although the vision may be delayed, it won’t remain delayed forever; it may wait, but it will surely arrive. After months of contemplation, here I am, convinced, anchored, firm, and deep, knowing that you and I can mount and steer the wheels of this journey and that nothing can stop an idea whose time has come.

I respectfully want to let you know that I, OSEI BRIGHT, will be running for the NDC’s parliamentary primaries in the Offinso South constituency. The journey is undertaken with profound and sincere conviction rather than simply out of hopes and aspirations.
Heaven knows where we are going and where we will arrive, no matter how difficult the journey may be.

I need your love, support, advice, prayers, and resources more than ever right now.
