West Ham United manager David Moyes has described Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus’ goal against Arsenal as a “great goal”.
He said this after seeing his West Ham side score a 3-1 win over Arsenal in the fourth round of the 2023-2024 Carabao Cup season at the London Stadium.
Kudus scored a brilliantly well take goal after collecting a long cross field pass from Moroccan defender Nayef Aguerd before slamming the ball past Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to put West Ham up 2-0.
Speaking to West Ham’s official media channel after the game, Moyes praised his offseason acquisition for the strike.
Mo (Mohammed Kudus) scored a great goal. It’s a lovely pass from Nayef and a great touch and finish from Mo. Mo is on a couple of goals and Jarrod has been getting goals too. We’ve got a few goals tonight.”
The win ended a three game losing streak for West Ham ahead of another London derby but this time against Brentford.
