Adwoa Safo scheduled to face NPP Disciplinary Committee Today

Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been summoned to appear before the Disciplinary Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) following public comments she made regarding the party’s performance in the 2024 general elections.
A letter jointly signed by Patrick Boamah, the Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee, and William Yamoah, the Director of Finance and Administration, formally requested Adwoa Safo’s appearance at the NPP headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra.
The hearing is scheduled to take place on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the party’s main conference room.

The letter further outlined that the former MP is entitled to legal representation during the proceedings should she wish to have one.
“Furthermore, you are entitled to legal representation during the proceedings should you so require,” the letter stated.
This development follows remarks made by Adwoa Safo that have raised concerns within the party’s ranks, particularly regarding the NPP’s performance in the 2024 elections.
